Musica Viva Festival: The inaugural Musica Viva Festival turned Sydney into a living chamber music hothouse, combining some of Australia’s most accomplished musicians and students with stellar international artists to create five days packed with concerts, masterclasses, seminars and other events spread across the city.
The Atlanta Opera strives to present opera productions of the highest standards possible, while fostering education about the art form and encouraging its growth with services and programs designed to fill the needs of the community. Founded in 1979, The Atlanta Opera has entertained more than 852,000 patrons during more than 272 performances and 81 productions. Led by Zurich General Director Dennis Hanthorn, The Atlanta Opera strives to expand the experience of its patrons with memorable and exciting performances reflecting the highest musical and theatrical standards, while supporting community and educational programs. The Atlanta Opera is a sublicense with the Woodruff Arts Center and are the first of a number of Atlanta area arts and cultural organizations that will be joining that consortium group outside of the resident organizations of the Woodruff Arts Center. The Woodruff Arts Center has been working closely with various Atlanta arts and cultural agencies in support of an exciting expansion of organizations that will be using Tessitura Software as part of a collaborative initiative.
