Ballet San Jose
Forty years ago, Burt Bacharach and Hal David asked the immortal question, “Do you know the way to San Jose?” Well, Tessitura Network sure does! We welcome Ballet San Jose, which has a mission to provide theatrically produced ballet and professional dance education in a manner that honors the vision of the artists, meets the highest technical and artistic standards, contributes to the fulfillment of the cultural needs of the community, and is accessible to as wide an audience as possible. University of Virginia
The “academical village” envisioned by Thomas Jefferson as a place where “shared learning infuses daily life” sprang into being in 1825 with the opening of the University of Virginia. And now one of America’s most prestigious universities, which was the first secular public university in the United States and had Jefferson, James Madison, and James Monroe in attendance at the laying of first cornerstone in 1817, has chosen Tessitura Software to handle ticketing for its multiple performing and cultural arts venues, departments, festivals and special events.
