Expanded Executive and Leadership Programming

Enjoy small group discussions, peer-to-peer presentations, and focused networking opportunities

Join arts and culture leaders at the only cross-genre, global conference of its kind!

Executives from CEOs to future leaders will find an expanded slate of programming at TLCC2018. An Executive Track with a refreshed format will run over the full five days of the conference, and we will host our second invitation-only Leadership Summit at TLCC. Both opportunities provide peer-group discussions, moments of reflection, focused networking opportunities, and presentations by prominent executives from the global Tessitura community.

Executive Content

Exec Track is back — and better than ever! We are thrilled to announce that at TLCC2018, an Executive Track with a refreshed format will run over the full five days of the conference. Plus, additional sessions and Open Space Discussions will offer content relevant and useful for executives. This expanded program for executives and leaders is included with the price of TLCC attendance and does not require pre-registration. It features:

Engagement-driven content

Presentations by executives followed by small group intensives provide a highly potent combination of aspirational and applied learning.

Focused networking opportunities

Make connections with like-minded leaders, gain organizational-level insights, and keep in touch after the conference.

Leadership training

Interactive workshops invite participants to create strategy, consider organizational culture, develop key performance indicators, and consider your own role in getting things done.

Cumulative content

The five days are conceptually designed with an arc of content, where individuals can participate extensively and reflect deeply on important strategic topics. While attendance at all sessions is not required, it is recommended.

Additional sessions are being developed by the TLCC Planning Committee that include executive-level, strategic topics. These sessions will be tagged with an “EXEC” keyword to make them easy to find. We also anticipate that topics of interest to executives and leaders will surface in Open Space Discussions, which are opportunities for intimate, small-group conversations. These powerful, time-boxed discussions received rave reviews last year as the topics are determined by the people in the room. If there is something important you want to talk about, bring it to Open Space Discussions!

Leadership Summit 2018 at TLCC

We will host our second Leadership Summit at TLCC2018, July 14–16. (Once the Summit has concluded, attendees staying for the remainder of the conference are encouraged to participate in the Executive Track.)

Piloted last year, this invitation-only event was overwhelmingly well received. Nearly 100 organizational leaders were enlightened and challenged by case studies presented by prominent executives from the Tessitura global community and the peer-group discussions that accompanied them. The atmosphere promoted frank, open conversations with some of the best and the brightest minds working in arts and culture. Focused networking opportunities and beneficial new peer groups further encouraged the sharing of ideas. Top executives from around the world found that “every session was valuable,” inspiring new thinking to strengthen their organizations and providing time to re-examine the responsibility required of great leaders. Moreover, participants left with ideas to apply at their organizations — as one leader put it, “concepts that we have been talking about crystallized in my thinking and became actionable.”

Its invitation-only format and intentionally limited space are designed to facilitate the open exchange of ideas among peers. To ensure we are serving the audience that requested this program, invitations are being extended to the head of each Tessitura powered organization. Other senior leaders that wish to participate are asked to complete an application to attend. Applications will be evaluated following the registration period for organization heads. Acceptance is subject to space availability and the volume of applications received.
