In January of 2013, the Opera Company of Philadelphia became Opera Philadelphia.

Why go to all that trouble to remove two words? In her talk Annie discusses the strategic impulse that led to the Company's rebranding, the tactics that contributed to its success, and its impact on the bottom line.

In her role, Annie oversees the marketing, communications, and development departments and $10 million in annual revenue.

With the company since 2007, Annie previously served as the Director of Development, increasing the company's overall contributed income by 76% in three years.

Before switching her focus to administration, Annie was a coloratura soprano and worked as a young artist at Des Moines Metro Opera and Pensacola Opera. Annie serves as Adjunct Faculty in Drexel University's Arts Administration graduate program and holds a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Pennsylvania; a M.M. in Voice Performance and a M.M. in Opera Studies from the New England Conservatory; and a B.M. in Voice Performance from Penn State University.
