Will there be a virtual component to this year’s conference?

We are happy to offer a virtual pass to TLCC Washington, D.C. The pass will provide access to the conference app on desktop or mobile, where participants can livestream all general sessions as well as select topical sessions. Each topical session time block will offer a limited number of sessions to choose from.

How can I be a presenter at this year’s conference?

The Washington, D.C. call for presenters is now closed. However, there are other ways to contribute to the conference. Community groups will host topical discussions throughout the conference. Our community chairs will select discussion topics based on themes that are important to members. To learn more about our community and how you can help shape the collective agenda, visit our community hub today.

Will there be recordings available for the conference sessions?

Recordings of selected general sessions may be published on the Tessitura website after the conference.

Recordings of livestreamed sessions will be available in the conference app to both in-person and virtual participants. We ask TLCC attendees not to record or live broadcast any TLCC sessions.

What is on the agenda for this year’s conference?

We are in the process of building the schedule for TLCC Washington, D.C. Celebrate the start of the conference with us at the welcome reception on the evening of Sunday, August 11. Conference sessions will begin with an opening general session on Monday, August 12.

The conference will offer a wide range of learning opportunities, member-led presentations and community discussions. You’ll be able to meet with ecosystem partners and visit the Solution Center to explore products and services. Schedule a 15-minute meeting with a Tessitura expert to discuss your current puzzles. Signature TLCC networking events and the 5k run/walk will also be on the agenda. The conference will conclude the evening of Wednesday, August 14, with a celebration including a performance by the Tessiturians, offering a chance to relax with new and old friends.

Can I attend any session? Do I need to pre-select sessions?

Full conference attendees can select from any of the sessions offered on-site. Some sessions have limited capacity, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Virtual pass holders can watch any sessions that are available in the conference app.

The TLCC Washington, D.C., conference app will be live the week of July 29. Once you receive your login information, head there to learn all about our planned sessions, make connections with other attendees and exhibitors and start building your personal schedule. For full conference attendees, we will continue adding community discussions to the schedule throughout the conference. We encourage you to check the schedule regularly for new content.

How do I choose which sessions to attend?

We have a full program for you to choose from. We make every effort to provide content for all interest areas, so you may want to attend multiple sessions occurring at the same time. Don’t worry! Your registration includes access to our on-demand recordings. These will be available in the conference app shortly after TLCC Washington, D.C., concludes, providing more opportunities to access the content that is most important to you. To ensure you get the information you need, we recommend reviewing the program ahead of time and, when possible, coordinating your schedule with other colleagues so you can decide together what to attend.

What interest areas can I expect to see featured in the program?

Interest areas are based on the various job roles held by Tessitura members and the submissions received during the call for proposals. Our goal is to build a program that provides content in the following areas: Admissions & Visitor Services, Box Office & Ticketing, Business Intelligence and Customer Insight, Customer Care & Front of House, Development & Fundraising, Digital & Web, Education, Finance & Accounting, Group Sales, IT & Software Development, Membership, Marketing & Communications and Organization Administration.

Will you offer any training workshops at the conference?

This year, we will once again offer a few intermediate and introductory Analytics workshops during the conference. Pre-registration is required, and seating is limited to ensure an optimal learning environment. Registration for the workshops will be available in the conference app at the end of July. There is no additional fee to participate in these Analytics workshops for conference attendees.

These workshops are not available to virtual pass holders.

Will you offer any hands-on training at the conference?

On Sunday, before the full conference starts, we will offer an in-person skill booster course on HTML Templates. Pre-registration will be required, and there will be an additional cost to participate in this full-day workshop on top of registration. The fee for this course is $325. Meals, including breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks, will be included in the cost of this course.

This all-day intensive course will give intermediate users a chance to work with HTML templates hands-on. Designed for users with some experience in HTML templates who are looking to go deeper, the workshop will help you make the most of the transactional emails sent from your Tessitura system. To ensure the most effective experience, our hands-on workshops have limited seating, and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees will be required to bring their own laptop (Mac or PC). Participants will receive a certificate of completion following an end-of-course assessment.

Do you offer continuing education credits/CPE credits for attending TLCC/sessions?

TLCC does not offer continuing education credits at this time.
