Tessitura Merchant Services will offer native support for traditional credit card payments, as well as expanded payment methods for consumers such as PayPal, GooglePay, ApplePay, and direct debits / electronic funds transfers (EFT). Tessitura Merchant Services will be designed to meet the needs of all Tessitura member organizations, with specific payment options tailored to each region.

Adyen (AMS: ADYEN) is the payment platform of choice for many of the world’s leading companies, providing a modern end-to-end infrastructure connecting directly to Visa, Mastercard, and consumers’ globally preferred payment methods. With offices across the world, Adyen serves customers including Facebook, Uber, Spotify, Casper, Bonobos and L’Oréal.

“The variety of consumer payment options continues to grow rapidly,” said Andrew Recinos, President & CEO. “We know arts and culture organizations must keep pace with this trend in order to provide a low-friction experience for ticket buyers and donors. Adyen is a highly-respected payment platform serving some of the world’s most recognized brands. Our partnership with Adyen helps ensure that our members have access to consumer payment types as they emerge.”

“Consolidating the payment process will lead to a smoother customer experience, no question,” said John Jakovich, Chief Innovation Officer. “On the consumer side, they will see a decreased decline rate and have more payment options. Organizationally, this shift will reduce payment processing complexity and provide additional fraud protection for your organization.”

“We are so thrilled to roll this option out to our members,” said Karyn Elliott, Chief Member Officer. “As a nonprofit, we aim to keep members’ costs as low as possible, and many organizations will realize ongoing cost savings with Tessitura Merchant Services. We are pleased to be able to work with a world-class provider like Adyen so that organizations pay one low rate for the gateway and the acquirer.”
